No Tv

I am finding out what life is like with out TV. Our Satalite box got fried and it is taking time to get the new one. It is very quiet. And there isn't as much fighting it seems. I think when we do get it back we will probably go back to the way it was. But maybe just maybe I will turn it off more often.

Flagstaff holiday

We went to Flagstaff on MLK day.  

We have a special place we sled in town.  It is on a golf course. We are always the only ones there.  It is perfect.

Oscar's baptism.  It was a wonderful day.  Family came to see our second get baptized by his dad.

Cake time

Brad and Oscar's birthday on the 1st of Nov.

We had cotton candy, and rockets.  Mindi, Brad's mom had this wonderful activity for the boys.  We had the little plastic film cans and they would put a small amount of water in them, then you put in a 1/4 of an alka seltzer and put the lid on fast.  Then you put it upside down on the ground and it will shoot up into the air.  Just fantastic.  They played at that for about an hour.

Halloween 08

Tyler was the grim reaper for the 3rd year in a row, Oscar was some kind of zombie?, Wesley was Wolverine, Burton was Batman, and YY was a bat.

I wore a witch's hat when we went out.

Nate and I went to the Humphrey's Halloween Party the week before and the original idea was 80's rockers.  When we arrived we were dubbed "Rock of Love" Couple.  I think the wig did it.  

So I guess I am the one that Bret chose.
