Easters

We enjoy Easter at our house. The boys get to have candy and we get to do Easter eggs. But it's just fun to see their happy faces and it's an opportunity for me to take pictures of course.  So fun for everyone.
We also take the time to teach them the real reason for the season and it is one of my favorite holidays because of the meaning behind Easter. So grateful for our Savior and for his sacrifice.

New Lens

I got my new lens and new camera around this time. I got a Canon Mark ii. I also picked up the 85 mm lens. It's a manual one so it's harder to use. This day I got to practice outside at sunset. Wyatt was really great sitting still for me. So he is my main man

Allison Singing

We got to go out to Glendale to watch Allison sing with the Glendale community college. We were both about seven months pregnant. Quite a feat when you are full of baby. Not much room for air. Allison is such a great singer and I love her so much.

Tyler's Eagle Project

Tyler's Eagle Project.  He visited with the principal at the Elementary School about what he could do for them to get his eagle project done.  He went into the meeting with some ideas to help the library and instead they found a great project.  There are studies about kids and learning.  They found that the little Kinder, 1st and 2nd graders need support for their feet.  If their feet dangle and aren't supported they have a harder time learning and concentrating.  Interesting.  So we decided to make stools.  About 100-200.  He did a great job planning and getting help.  We went to Home Depot and Lowes and got all the wood donated from HD and Lowes.  Yay.    He got started in December.
Glue and Nails and wood.  Simple project.  The Principal was really excited and the teachers too.
The first big push was a big success.  He had about 12 boys and 4 adults come out to help.  He finished up the project in Jan.  We delivered the stools before school started in January.
Such a great feeling to have them all done.  So proud of our almost Eagle scout.  Just need to finish up the paperwork now.
