San Diego Couples trip

So our Lake Powell group decided to not go to the lake this year because the lake was pretty low and things weren't looking good. We decided to take our group vacation to San Diego. Websters, Scotts, Daniels, Gardeners and Shields. We found a great beach house and the weather was lovely. We were able to take our bikes with us and I went on many bike rides with Daphne in tow. We rode up and down the boardwalk and went shopping and ate at wonderful restaurants. We sat around and watched videos and laughed and had a great time. Lots of people played volleyball. We got to go thrift shopping with all the girls. A nice relaxing vacation.

Backyard

Just took an opportunity to take pictures of the kids in the backyard. The light was really beautiful outside and what Else could I do. I passed up so many opportunities like these every day. I'm glad everyone's in a while I take those opportunities to take some cute pictures of the kids. I like the picture of Emmett flipping upside down. He's so fun

Emmett's first day of Preschool

This little boy likes to dress himself. It often involves boots whether they match or not. And I usually have to ask him to take off his costume before he goes to school. He complies. All the boys did that with the costumes and I love that stage. It's hard being a little kid in a house full of big boys though. The boys tend to tease him about it and I have to try and protect him and his youth as much as possible. What a darling little boy.

St. Johns for the 4th

When Doug started working in St. John's he lived with his grandmother at first her name is Ruth Patterson. She is a lovely woman. We went and stayed at her house with her. The kids slept outside in tents and we had a wonderful time during Fourth of July in St. John's. They know how to do it right. They had a wonderful presentation and a movie and fireworks. It was really fun to have that small town feel. In the morning we got to go to a citywide breakfast and it was really fun. We saw some friends from the valley as well. Herrings. They have lots of family up there as well. I love these pictures because the cousins are all together and they're so young and libations. It is a wonderful sight to see and I got to take some pictures of the kids with absolutely beautiful light.

Yeah I can do it as often as I want. And I did. I took pictures of Daphne once a month for the first year. Nathan thought it was a little overboard but I beg to differ. It was so much fun. She's a little doll baby and as you can see from the pictures everybody loves her

 

Father's Day

Yeah I must've really falling down on the job for Mother's Day and Father's Day right after the baby was born. I will hear some images of some of the boys with Nathan and the baby.  Happy Father's Day
